About the Math program:

  • Content: Teach courses based on the Singapore Math concepts to students aged between 4-15 years old, with most students based in the USA.
  • Class Type: One-on-one Trial (25 minutes) and small group regular class (55 minutes or 90 minutes) with up to 6 students per class
  • Platform: LingoAce Interactive Online Classroom
  • Student level: primary grades 2-6

Class Schedule:

  • One-on-one trial: flexible class schedule for prospective students to try out the service and meet the teacher.
  • Small group regular class: fixed schedule classes with enrolled students, once or twice a week at fixed times, lasts 18 weeks for one semester.
  • The more regular classes you take, the more stable your income will be
  • * peak teaching time: 4 am-12 pm and 5pm-11pm EST (peak peak time: weekends)

Payment:

  • One-one-one trial (25min): up to $15 per half-hour ( $12 fixed rate+$3 enrolled student incentive )
  • Small group regular (55min or 90min): starting at $28/hr to higher with incentives ( 55-min: $24 fixed rate+$4 fixed class incentive+$0.5 homework incentive per student; 90-min: $36 fixed rate+ $6 fixed class incentive+$1 homework incentive per student)
  • Assessment incentive: $2, given per student, per assessment; one semester has a total of four assessment

Qualifications:

  • In pursuit of or holding Bachelor’s degree or higher, a major in Mathematics/Engineering/Science/Technology preferred
  • At least one year of experience teaching Math
  • Fluent English speakers that are legally allowed to work in the US, Canada or the UK
