Northrop Grumman's Corporate Office is seeking a Manager of BusinessManagement (M2) to support the Global Infrastructure Operations organization within Chief Information & Digital Office (CIDO), Global Secure Solutions (GSS).

This position is preferred as an onsite position located in Falls Church, VA with opportunity for hybrid work schedule, however position can be virtual for the right candidate.

This position will be a direct report to the CIDO GSS Business Management Manager and partner with the Global Infrastructure Operations Leadership to manage all financial aspects to achieve the strategic objectives of delivering a digitally mature infrastructure while balancing affordable growth. This role will support multiple Global Infrastructure Operations areas within Enterprise IT Infrastructure and Enterprise IT Service Delivery.

Roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Provide direct management for a team of Business Management analysts, including mentoring and developing professional and management talent.
  • Provide financial business analysis and reporting with the ability to clearly communicate with senior management as it relates to financial status and analyses.
  • Develop business strategy and forecasting, through internal or external deliverables such as the Annual Multiyear Plan/FPRP.
  • Supporting the development of detailed business case analysis and return on investment analysis.
  • Oversee key line forecasting, work authorization, project budgeting, estimate at complete development, and various financial reporting activities.
  • Partner with Global Supply Chain and Service Line leaders on large procurements and Enterprise Agreements to ensure sustainable vendor relationships are managed and leveraged.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications - to be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills and abilities listed below:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, or a related field with minimum 8 years of relevant professional or military experience. Appropriate equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
  • Demonstrated expertise in business management, cost/risk modeling, and business case analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to use them in informing, presenting, negotiating and problem solving with a wide range of people.
  • Ability to brief executive leadership on complex financial models.
  • Demonstrated ability to support complex operations while collaborating with multiple stakeholders.
  • Dynamic, self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to function independently.
  • A flexible approach to work, an understanding of working collaboratively on a team, and the willingness to be an active and supportive member of a cross-functional team.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills; ability to make recommendations and provide guidance to effectively bring projects to completion.

Preferred Qualifications – candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:

  • Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, or a related field from an accredited educational institution
  • Experience assessing value creation through business cases or other quantitative or qualitative techniques
  • Cross-sector experience
  • Relevant experience quantitative risk modeling
  • Experience in the Aerospace industry with understanding of Cost Accounting Standards
  • Local to Falls Church, VA

Salary Range: $129,300 - $193,900

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
