Job Description

Zoox is looking for an Application Administrator who has experience with setting up new applications and has good hands-on knowledge in managing and hosting applications on on-premise and cloud platforms. Application administrators will own applications and they will be working on maturing the standards on the existing list of applications.

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about automating the infrastructure for existing applications and would be interested in building custom integrations with different applications.

In this role, you will:


Qualifications:
    • Experienced with commercial-off-the-shelf applications and custom built applications
    • Able to implement and manage web servers (e.g., Apache, Nginx) to support hosted applications.
    • Ensure high availability and scalability of hosted applications through effective load balancing and clustering techniques.
    • Administer databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) including installation, configuration, and performance tuning


Compensation

There are three major components to compensation for this position: pay, Amazon Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), and Zoox Stock Appreciation Rights. The pay range for this position is $137,000 to $173,000. A sign-on bonus may be offered as part of the compensation package. Compensation will vary based on geographic location and level. Leveling, as well as positioning within a level, is determined by a range of factors, including, but not limited to, a candidate's relevant years of experience, domain knowledge, and interview performance. The pay range listed in this posting is representative of the range of levels Zoox is considering for this position.
