Job Highlights

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and communicate specialty medication prior authorization (PA) requests.
  • Coordinate with physician office staff, customer service teams, admissions, and pharmacy operations regarding PA status.
  • Manage fax processing and inbound phone inquiries from prescriber offices, pharmacies, and members.
  • Handle electronic authorizations, document case information accurately, and follow up as needed.
  • Review criteria-based prior authorizations in compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Active, unrestricted LPN/LVN license in state of residence.
  • 2+ years of clinical experience as an LPN/LVN.
  • 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Prior Authorization experience in a managed care or healthcare setting.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
