Position Summary:


Gastroenterology of the Rockies is a rapidly growing Gastroenterology practice in Boulder County and the greater Denver Metro area with eight office locations and five Ambulatory Surgery Centers. Interfaces with patients, peers, doctors, and other departments to ensure the highest levels of patient care are performed in a fast-paced Medical Office environment. Assists doctors in the treatment of patients, coordinates office operations, assigns tasks to and monitors performance of office staff, and maintains timely and accurate patient and business records.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years nursing experience (GI experience preferred)
  • Intermediate knowledge of Inflammatory Bowel Disease (preferred)
  • Valid LPN degree and/or licensed to practice in the State of Colorado
  • Valid RN degree and/or licensed to practice in the State of Colorado
  • Excellent verbal, written skills and oral communications skills.
  • High level ability to function in a teamwork spirit with doctor’s, peers, and other staff.
  • Able to function in a lead capacity as required.
  • Intermediate computer skills, with knowledge of medical software (Intergy preferred)


Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards. Must have the ability to walk short distances.
  • Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
