The Role: As a Staff Officer with Security Clearance, you will provide high-level operational and administrative support within the Career Service staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • General Administrative Support: Offer administrative assistance to HD Career Service staff, including scheduling, correspondence management, and general office operations.
  • Space & Records Management: Manage physical and digital office spaces, ensuring optimal organization and accessibility. Oversee records management, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and retention schedules.
  • Tasker & Workflow Management: Track and manage tasker workflows, ensuring timely and accurate completion. Provide support for formal taskers by documenting and processing requirements according to organizational needs.
  • Event & Logistics Support: Coordinate logistics for meetings, events, technical reviews, and focus group sessions. Organize travel arrangements and manage related tasks through the Defense Travel System (DTS).
  • Communications & Documentation: Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other documentation in alignment with NGA standards. Facilitate communication between various working groups, boards, and other internal and external teams.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a professional administrative or staff officer role.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage physical and digital space and oversee records management.
  • Tasker management experience with the ability to track and process workflows efficiently.
  • Familiarity with advanced features of Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and DTS.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop and maintain SOPs and documentation.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance.
