Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled professional to join our team as a Customer Support Specialist for Factory Software. This individual will play a critical role in supporting the operational health of systems that manufacture our cars, superchargers, and energy storage.
The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of technical expertise, exceptional interpersonal skills, and a strong ability to problem-solve. You will work closely with software developers and users on the production floor to identify and resolve issues in real-time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate MES and ERP applications seamlessly.
- Direct communication with software developers and users to understand issues and provide effective solutions.
- Manage and resolve tickets received from Factory Software users across all North American factories and warehouses efficiently.
- Create temporary workarounds for immediate solutions when a permanent fix is not available.
- Develop comprehensive troubleshooting guides and provide training to empower users to resolve issues independently.
- Implement automation and monitoring systems to optimize factory software utilization.
- Lead incident commanders for production-critical calls requiring coordination with cross-functional teams.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering field or equivalent experience with exceptional technical ability.
- Willingness to work a 4-day 10-hour shift schedule, including potential night shifts.
- A minimum of 2 years of support engineering experience.
- Proficiency in SQL and at least 1 year of experience with Python, Go, or other software development languages.
- Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk.
- Ability to understand complex integrated systems and their dependencies.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, energetic, and self-motivated.
- Strong organizational skills, demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
- Well-versed in Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
