Our Walt Disney Studios team works on titles that include a wide variety of blockbuster films distributed under the Walt Disney Studios, Marvel Studios, Lucasfilm, Pixar Animation Studios, Walt Disney Animation Studios, 20th Century, and Searchlight banners. THE JOB

The Supervisor, Social manages the day-to-day account activities of the group. The Supervisor plays a key role in the translation of marketing and media objectives into overall paid social media strategies and directs development of paid social media plans. The Supervisor oversees regular reporting as well as ensuring campaigns are running smoothly and efficiently.

Candidates who do not have significant experience in the area of PAID Social will not be qualified.

Responsibilities Include

Strategy

  • Must have strong knowledge of paid social (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, Pinterest) landscape and best practices
  • Demonstrate full understanding of client’s businesses as basis for all future work
  • Develop strategic recommendations based on media plan and marketing editorial calendar
  • Maintain comprehensive paid social media strategies that align with brand strategy
  • Ensure integration and coordination between various communications programs
  • Direct marketing and media analyses to support recommendations
  • Seek, investigate and actively pursue innovative communications opportunities

 Execution Management

  • Supervise and monitor implementation of all social media programs.
  • Compile long-term paid social media strategies and roadmaps
  • Key contact for clients, ensuring prompt and clear responses to client questions and requests
  • Oversee long term partnerships with media and social media companies

Reporting

  • Optimize content calendars and social plans to produce rigorous and clean data
  • Identify KPIs for ongoing and campaign initiative – analyze findings based on benchmark goals and apply learnings for future initiatives
  • Work closely with specialists to maintain timeliness and accuracy of client reporting
  • Derive insights and recommendations

Media Account Management

  • Manage client relationships in order to more effectively sell ideas and contribute to positive Agency evaluations
  • Check for accuracy, timeliness and quality of all media group outputs
  • Keep integrated media team updated and informed on status of all account projects.
  • Provide client with strategic points-of-view

  • Bachelor's degree with demonstrated experience in PAID social media strategies and execution
    • A minimum of 4 years of paid social experience
  • Experience working at an agency and/or Entertainment/Studio background experience or related industry a plus
  • Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to be agile and adaptable within a quick turnaround business environment
  • Demonstrated proactive approach to problem solving and critical thinking
  • Clear and articulate communicator with ability to direct and coach team members
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to articulate and communicate clearly when participating in internal and client-facing meetings
  • Excellent ability to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely
  • Deep knowledge of ad products and buying mechanisms of all major social platforms
  • Direct experience with platforms (Facebook Power Editor, Twitter Ads)
  • Direct experience managing teams – both internal and on the client side
  • HTML and CSS knowledge desirable but not necessary

This is a hybrid role based in Burbank, CA.

This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, benefits include: health insurance, vision insurance, dental insurance, 401(k), Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account, vacation days, sick days, personal days, paid parental leave, paid medical leave, and STD/LTD insurance benefits.

Compensation Range

$75,000—$105,000 USD

This role is hybrid, requiring three (3) days per week in the office. The remaining two (2) days may be worked remotely. Specific in-office days will be discussed during the interview process, with flexibility to align with team needs. Please note that the number or required in-office days may be adjusted over time, potentially increasing the number of required in-office days based on business needs.
