We are seeking a detail-oriented, hardworking, and team-focused Verification Specialist / Call Center Representative. In this role, you will ensure accurate and timely background checks while delivering a high level of professionalism in all interactions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Verify employment, education, and references by contacting appropriate sources.
  • Conduct 70+ professional and clear phone calls daily.
  • Gather information efficiently using phone, fax, and email.
  • Research and retrieve data accurately from various websites and databases.
  • Provide timely updates to clients on verification progress.
  • Support team goals by completing additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications

  • Experienced: Minimum of 2+ years in call center or customer service roles and 1 year in an office environment.
  • Educated or Experienced: A college degree in Criminal Justice, Pre-Law, Paralegal, Journalism, or Political Science (preferred) or 3+ years of related work experience.
  • Fast and Accurate: Typing speed of 50+ words per minute with high accuracy.
  • Trustworthy: Able to pass security clearance to obtain a Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC).
