About the Council: The Smart'n Nurse Advisory Council (S'NAC) was created to ensure nurses have a seat and a voice at the table. This is especially important as we continue to develop new AI technologies to power better experiences for nurses. The S'NAC will be representative of the entire nursing ecosystem, including educators, administrators, and practicing nurses, while embracing geographic and demographic diversity. By bringing together a broad spectrum of perspectives, the council aims to shape solutions that address the needs and challenges faced by nurses across all backgrounds and roles.


About the Role: As a member of the Nurse Advisory Council, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the development, strategy, and success of Smart'n. This advisory position leverages your expertise, experience, and insights from your experience in the nursing profession. Your contributions will directly impact the platform’s ability to address nurses' challenges and better support them throughout the nursing journey.


About You: You are a change agent, with a passion for improving the nursing profession with the following qualifications:

  • An active nursing license in the US or Canada
  • Professional experience in a clinical, educational, or administrative role - experience in multiple roles and asset
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to provide constructive and actionable feedback.
  • Familiarity with technology, AI and digital tools used in healthcare or nursing education is a plus.


Responsibilities: Committing to at least five hours monthly and attending bi-annual advisory meetings, members of the council will include but not be limited to the following:


  • Provide Expert Insights: Share professional knowledge and experiences to guide the development and refinement of Smart'n features and content. Offer feedback on platform usability, relevance, and effectiveness based on current nursing practices and challenges.


  • Advocate for the Nursing Community: Represent the voice of nurses to ensure their needs, concerns, and priorities are addressed in product updates and strategy. Champion innovative solutions that align with the demands of modern healthcare environments.


  • Provide Platform Feedback: Using your vast experience and knowledge of the nursing industry, you will provide constructive feedback on new and existing features, strategies, and go-to-market plans.


Participate in Bi-annual Advisory Council Meetings: Attend council meetings to discuss product development, strategy, and future initiatives. Provide constructive feedback and actionable recommendations during discussions.


Promote Awareness: Advocate for Smart'n within your professional networks, sharing its value with colleagues, educators, and institutions. Act as an ambassador to help Smart'n foster trust and credibility in the nursing community.
