Our client, a healthcare agency in NYC, is looking for an Engagement Strategist for a 4-month remote contract working EST hours. In this position, you will play a key role in shaping data-driven, audience-centric marketing strategies for healthcare brands. You will leverage audience insights, analytics data, digital trends, user behaviors, competitive audits, and asset/experience evaluations to develop informed marketing approaches. Responsibilities:


  • Develop audience-driven engagement strategies using analytics, research, and market trends.
  • Conduct and analyze competitive audits to inform strategic recommendations.
  • Define audience archetypes, customer micro-journeys, and key engagement pillars.
  • Identify content needs and recommend optimized content strategies based on research.
  • Track and distill digital, technological, and innovation insights relevant to healthcare marketing.
  • Provide recommendations for optimizing digital engagement tactics to improve campaign performance.
  • Lead engagement workshops for strategic planning, client pitches, and tactical execution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including creative, media, and client services, to ensure strategic alignment.
  • Present insights and recommendations to both internal teams and clients in a clear, actionable manner.
  • Stay ahead of evolving digital marketing trends and best practices within healthcare.


Required Qualifications:


  • 2–5 years of experience in digital marketing or engagement strategy at a healthcare agency.
  • Strong knowledge of digital trends, user behavior analysis, and audience segmentation.
  • Experience conducting competitive audits and asset evaluations.
  • Ability to translate research and analytics into actionable marketing strategies.
  • Strong understanding of customer journey mapping and content strategy.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with experience leading workshops and pitches.
  • Proficiency in using digital analytics tools and research methodologies.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Passion for healthcare marketing and a keen understanding of industry regulations and trends.
