About the role

This position is hybrid (3 days per week in office) and is located in Austin, Texas. 

What will you be doing?

Execute PR strategies and campaigns in alignment with company goals.
Manage relationships with external PR agencies to ensure seamless execution of initiatives.
Track, analyze, and report on PR performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Coordinate and schedule media opportunities for executive spokespeople, including interviews, press briefings, and speaking engagements.
Assist in drafting and editing press releases, media statements, and other external communications.
Monitor media coverage, industry trends, and competitor PR activities to inform strategic decisions.
Support crisis communication efforts as needed, ensuring timely and effective responses.
Collaborate with internal teams to align messaging and support cross-functional PR efforts.
What are we looking for?

Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field or related experience.
3-5 years of experience in public relations, media relations, or corporate communications.
Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent organizational and time management skills with high attention to detail.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across teams and with external agencies.
