About the position

As an Amazon Fulfillment Center Warehouse Associate, you will be an integral part of the team responsible for preparing customer orders. This role is fast-paced and physical, taking place in various areas of the warehouse, including merchandise handling, make-on-demand services, customer returns, Prime Now, and general fulfillment. Your primary responsibilities will include selecting, packing, and shipping orders, sometimes for our expedited delivery service that promises delivery in two hours or less. In this position, you will be tasked with receiving and organizing inventory, preparing customer orders for shipment, and loading boxes onto trucks. You will utilize scanners to read barcodes and follow prompts on screens to complete tasks efficiently. Troubleshooting issues and ensuring that products meet quality standards will also be part of your daily duties. Additionally, you will operate powered industrial trucks (PIT), such as forklifts and pallet drivers, and may work at heights of up to 40 feet, for which training and certification will be provided at no cost. Physical requirements for this role include the ability to lift up to 49 pounds, push utility carts weighing up to 60 pounds, and perform various movements such as standing, walking, squatting, bending, and reaching throughout your shifts. You may also need to navigate stairs and work at heights on a mezzanine, depending on the specific tasks assigned. Adherence to strict safety, quality, and fulfillment production standards is essential to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.

View prompts on screens and follow the direction for some tasks

Troubleshoot problems

Ensure product meets quality requirements

Operate powered industrial trucks (PIT) such as forklifts or pallet drivers

Work at heights up to 40 feet

Requirements

Must be 18 years or older

Ability to understand and adhere to all job requirements and safety guidelines in English
